Air Pump Diffusers and Accessories

Matala Air Disc Diffusers are available in 3", 7", 9" and 12" diameter sizes. Made of high quality EPDM rubber for use in water gardens, aquaculture and waste water treatment industries. Precision perforated I-shaped slits open when airflow is present and close when airflow is stopped, which increases durability and longevity, as well as cleanliness.  These diffusers offer the lowest back pressure in the market.

MD-3W and MD-7W have weighted bases. MDB11 and MDB22 features a hollow base that can be filled with sand or gravel.

These discs are very low maintenance and in some cases no maintenance. Simply wash the disc with clean water and bleach if it ever needs cleaning.

Air Diffuser Manifolds includes check valve to prevent water from filling air line when not in use. Polyethylene underlay keep diffusers from settling into the mud and prevents sediment erosion during operation.

Matala rod diffusers are made from recycled rubber with specially designed pore sizes to create fine air bubbles. They are self weighted so they won't float and are fitted with a 3 section hose barb to connect to self weighted air hose.

Matala Hakko Air Tube Diffusers are designed to be a drop-in system. The rubber membrane is wrapped around a hollow PVC tube. The air holes are a little larger than other brands, so you get medium-sized bubbles which do not clog and put very little back-pressure on your system. This means very low maintenance and effective aeration system.

Can be filled with rocks or gravel in order to be weighted down.

The Matala Manifold is designed to split air flow from your air pump to air stones, and other aeration devices for your pond or aquarium. The manifold comes with shut off valves and barbed hose connections.

Matala Heavy Duty Air Manifolds are built tough. Heavy brass construction for dependable use. The manifolds are available in 2-way or 4-way. The inlet barb which connects to the air pump is a 3/4" barb. The outlet barbs are available in 3/8", 1/2" or 5/8".

Assemblies with multiple outlets include swivel union, pressure relief valve, and a valve for each diffuser connection, allowing you to tweak the amount of air going to each diffuser and making it easy to take any diffuser offline for maintenance without shutting down the rest of the system. The ERP1V includes a swivel union and pressure relief valve but does not include a valve for the diffuser.
