A protective pre-filter cage and wide, flat base allows the pump to be placed directly in the pond. If your pond doesn’t have a skimmer to house a pump, then you want to choose an in-pond pump. These pumps include a pre-filter cage to prevent debris from clogging the motor. Its oil-free design and high-torque performance will provide years of trouble-free operation, while the protective pump cage will handle solids up to one quarter of an inch, preventing clogging and reducing maintenance. A variety of fittings are included for simple installation, including a rotational ball output that allows the discharge position to be adjusted for simple installation.

The Aquascape Pond Powerhead is an innovative submersible pump designed to create water movement and eliminate stagnant areas in ponds and water gardens. Biological filters are positioned to create the beginning of the waterfall in your pond. The filter uses bacteria to break down pond wastes, converting them into less harmful compounds that can be used as aquatic plant fertilizers. Water enters via flexible pipe located near the base of the unit. The water then flows from the bottom to the top, traveling through filter media and Bio-balls (optional) housed inside the unit.
