The BioSmart Gravity Filters are a multi-stage mechanical and biological filtration system in a compact package. During biological filtration, the water is channeled through a series of filter foams that create a special environment by allowing the settling of beneficial bacteria. During this stage, harmful ammonia and nitrites are converted to nitrates, which support plant life in the pond. For best results and clear water guarantee, use with an appropriately sized Oase pump and UV clarifier.

Sea Side Aquatics Bakki Shower filters utilize a unique design where water is pumped to the top of the unit and dispersed over ceramic biological filter media (sold separately). Advanced filtration systems for Koi ponds now with NEW K+ Media

Building on the tried and tested technology that has been present in the world renowned Nexus, the team at Evolution Aqua have gone even further to enhance their number one koi pond filter. 

The Nexus 220+ and Nexus 320+ filters now come with a new filter media called K+ Media in the moving bed outer chamber for vastly improved biological filtration and faster filter maturation. The new Nexus+ filters are now supplied "auto ready", with factory fitted fixings already in place, making it even easier to upgrade to the Nexus Automatic Cleaning System.

How the Nexus Works

Water from the pond enters the nexus via the inlet into the inner chamber which works as a vortex, allowing larger solids to settle out. Water then passes through the grills in the stainless steel “Eazy” filter, where the finer particles are removed by the static bed K1 Micro® filter media. The clean water then passes to the outside chamber of the Nexus for biological treatment before returning to the pond. At this stage, biological breakdown occurs through different strains of bacteria and filter feeders living on the protected surface area of each K1+ Media filer. The bacteria convert Ammonia and Nitrite into less harmful Nitrate. Water then passes through the exit grill into the outlet and returns to the pond.

A compact member of the Nexus family, the EazyPod is a mechanical and biological filter system for garden ponds up to 5,333 gallons or Koi ponds up to 2,640 gallons. The EazyPod utilises static K1 Micro, which provides enhanced biological benefits, even when using the EazyPod solely as a mechanical waste filter.

The EazyPod Automatic is a self-cleaning, mechanical and biological filter system for ponds up to 2,640 gallons.

The integrated control box contains an adjustable timer which initiates a cleaning cycle automatically - meaning your filter will clean itself even when you’re not there! Inside the control box, the electronic connector blocks control the automated waste valve, along with your choice of circulating pump (not supplied). It even houses an integral air pump which kicks in automatically to clean the K1 Micro media.

Crystal clear, healthy water is achieved by K1 Micro filter media, which also provides enhanced biological benefits by way of its protected surface area.

The Eazypod UV Automatic features an integrated 18 Watt UVC built in to the inlet section of the filter, helping to clear green water. Available in 2 models, users can select either the EazyPod Automatic or the EazyPod UV Automatic (with built-in 18 watt UV). 

The Cetus Sieve is a self-adjusting bow screen sieve which can be installed either gravity fed or pump fed. The Cetus Sieve enables your pond water to be pre-filtered before the water enters your current filter system - designed to efficiently and effectively remove large amounts of mechanical waste from a pond. It can also be used as a stand-alone unit to remove leaves and other floating debris from your pond via a surface skimmer. The Cetus Sieve is compatible with all filtration systems, however it is the perfect prefilter for the Evolution Aqua Nexus filter range. For gravity fed systems the Cetus Sieve has a weir which will automatically adjust to the flow rate of your pump (max flow rate 4,000 GPH). When the Cetus Sieve is used in front of any other biological/mechanical filter the period in between cleaning will be extended. 

The Matala Koi Clear Vortex Filter offers exceptional versatility and efficiency for heavily stocked koi ponds up to 5,300 gallons. With its modular design and state-of-the-art progressive filtration technology, it provides effective filtration in various applications. The EasyPro Eco-Bog Kits are a fast and effective way to filter ponds up to 10,000 gallons. Not only are they effective at filtering, these kits are designed to be easy to backflush when cleaning is needed! Media-filled Res-Cubes that are ideal for bog filtration systems. Traditional bogs are typically filled with gravel layers which are hard to clean. Eco-Bog Cubes use a plastic media which is not only easy to clean but has a very long life cycle.

The Bermuda Pond Filter Kit makes pond filtration easy, including the right filter and UV clarifier to clear water in small to medium garden ponds. The filter box can be part buried for discrete placement and sponges cleaned at the pull of a handle.

Installed and buried out of sight at the base of the downspout to capture and remove a variety of pollutants and debris. Incoming rainwater is passed through a series of mechanical filters that remove leaves, twigs, seeds, and small sediment. The first stage of filtration consists of a grated lid and layer of gravel (not included) that remove larger debris. The second stage of filtration is a 300-micron net that effectively removes finer particulate such as sediment composed of roofing material, dust, and other debris. Filtered rainwater can then be discharged into a rainwater harvesting system.
