Matala BioSteps-II Filters

Matala BioSteps-II filter maximizes Matala filter media performance. The rugged BioSteps-II contains an amazing 200 sq. ft. of surface area for beneficial bacteria growth. Combined with a cross flow design that traps and processes more debris at high flow rates, you get unparalleled mechanical and biological filtration for superior water quality.

Includes:

• State of art progressive filtration - 2 Green Matala Pads, 2 Blue Matala Pads, 2 Gray Matala Pads. 
• "Swivel Inlet Fitting" with 3/4", 1", 1-1/4" and 1-1/2" barbed size
• Outlet fitting for 1-1/2" or 2" pipe connection or connection to optional Waterfall Spillway. The tank is an open flow "gravity return" to the pond.
• Enhances growth of different ecological communities of bacteria that will colonize in the filter.
• Sloped bottom with extra sink at outlet for easy draining of waste.
