Features:
Alpine Cyclone PAL8000 Pond Pump
Pros: Reliable & Efficient operation
Cons: None
Have had this Alpine pump for over 3 years now with no problems. Previously I had a number of Calpump PW5500s which typically failed within one year of operation (6 - 18 months). This pump uses less electricity than the Calpump and runs very quite. The Calpumps could be heard from 10 feet away even though they were underwater. The Alpine cannot be heard.
