Aquascape UltraKlear 1000 UV Clarifier / Sterilizer 14W high output

The Aquascape UltraKlear Pond UV Clarifier effectively clears green water algae blooms. Its technologically-advanced UV bulb maximizes its performance, while the narrow contact chamber increases its effectiveness. An internal swirl sleeve optimizes UV clarification by increasing the contact time between the algae and UV bulb, increasing UV efficiency up to 50% over traditional UV clarifiers. An on/off indicator provides verification of bulb functionality. The mechanical safety switch automatically turns bulb off when the ballast is removed. 

If your UV Clarifier is appropriately sized, expect water clarity within 14 days. Note that string algae on the waterfall, in the pond, and on the sides won't be impacted by the UV light. This is typical for ponds, as the UV only targets single-celled algae that can pass through the unit. Keep in mind, your pond might retain a greenish tint unless you have at least 50% plant coverage or your pond is in partial shade.
