The Pondmaster Filter Systems consists of a Pondmaster 1000 filter, magnetic drive pump, fittings, two fountain heads and hose to connect units. The filter unit rests on the bottom of the pond. It is designed to connect to the pump using the fitting and flexible hose provided. The coarse polyester should be placed on top of the finer carbon impregnated material which filters smaller debris from the water. The activated carbon in this layer helps eliminate many harmful compounds as well as unwanted color from the pond water.
