Instructions: Step 1: Calculate the amount of FlukeGuard needed based on your pond’s volume. Step 2: Prepare the solution by measuring the required amount of FlukeGuard using an accurate scale. Mix the measured FlukeGuard in a container of warm water (not hot) and mix into a slurry. Step 3: Apply to the pond slowly by pouring the dissolved FlukeGuard solution into the pond. Add it near the return or aeration system to help distribute the medication evenly throughout the pond. Step 4: Monitor the pond - keep aeration running throughout the treatment to maintain oxygen levels and observe your koi for signs of stress or unusual behavior. Step 5: Repeat if necessary. For heavy infestations, a second dose may be applied after 7 days. Follow the same procedure. Do Not Overdose: overdosing can lead to fish fatalities. Do not use FlukeGuard with other treatments or medications. Turn off UV sterilizers, ozone generators, protein skimmers, and carbon filters for the duration of the 7-day treatment. Store the product at temperatures above 50°F and use within three months of opening for optimal effectiveness.
