CALTHA PALUSTRIS 'PLENA' (DOUBLE FLOWERING MARSH MARIGOLD) - A native wildflower over most of the Northern hemisphere, and much loved for their showy yellow buttercup flowers that grace stream sides and other wet areas in early spring. Grows best in a rich moist soil but will adapt to all but dry conditions. Full sun to part shade. Can grow up to 2 feet tall. Zone 2-9
CALTHA PALUSTRIS 'MARSH MARIGOLD' - Nearly round leaves are heart-shaped with waxy-yellow buttercup-like flowers. Can grow up to 18 inches tall. Notorious for going dormant during the summer when placed in full sun during hot summers. Zone 3
CALTHA POLYPETALA 'GIANT MARSH MARIGOLD' - One of the earlier blooms to appear in the spring, great for kicking off the growing season. Yellow flowers atop glossy dark green foliage. Holds its foliage later into the warmer summer months. Can grow up to 2 feet tall. Zone 4-7
