CYPERUS ALTERNIFOLIUS (UMBRELLA PALM) - Very popular marginal pond plant. Leaf like clusters are symmetrically arranged in an umbrella formation and held atop elegant stems, giving a tropical touch to any pond or water feature. Can grow up to 5 feet tall. Zone 7.
CYPERUS ALTERNIFOLIUS GRACILIS (DWARF UMBRELLA PALM) - A close cousin of the famous Egyptian papyrus plant. Like papyrus, it grows in clumps in wet and boggy areas. Can grow up to 2 feet tall. Bright green foliage with parasols of slender leaves that grace the top of the stems. Full Sun. Zone 7.
CYPERUS LONGUS (UMBRELLA GRASS) - Tubular stems with narrow green fronds topped with unique brown flower clusters. Makes an excellent accent and structure plant. The decorative foliage works well in mixed containers. Can grow up to 4 feet tall. Full sun to part shade. Zone 5.
