HIPPURIS SPECIES (FEATHERY MARE'S TAIL) - A native substitute for the aggressive Parrot Feather, which is banned in many states. It has the appearance of a pleasant green bottlebrush and grows upright in patches. Can grow up to 2 feet tall. Zone: Z2- Z6

HIPPURIS VULGARIS (MARE'S TAIL) - An oxygenating aquatic plant with stems cladded with whorls of linear, blue-green foliage. Some are submerged and some above water. Provides useful cover for small fish and other pond wildlife. Full sun. Can grow up to 12 inches tall. Zone 6.
